I signed up with your site about November/December of last year. First, let me thank you for offering this product.  I am a married graduate student with two daughters.  I subscribed to your site so I could finally learn piano jazz while my daughters took “traditional” lessons.

Well, they soon wanted in on the action and asked me to take them through the Jazz Kids series.  Now, while the girls have moved on to employ their knowledge of jazz on the trumpet and violin, they still play piano — getting instruction from me and your videos.

Their instructors marvel at each girl’s sense of rhythm and understanding of improvisation.  Your teaching has given all three of us very solid musical foundations.

Just want to let you know that I subscribed last week and couldn’t be happier. I sat through some piano lessons as a kid, but my level of competence has never exceeded a repetoire of a dozen or so ‘fake book’ songs. I recently set up a home studio (I play guitar) and bought a midi-keyboard to input into my Logic software. I subscribed to your site as a re-introduction to piano, and have been playing along with your videos on my midi-Mac set up. About 6 lessons in, and I’m already learning a ton, getting my finger speed up, and - finally!- getting a grip on improvisation. Great job, and thanks!

I watched a few sample videos online and then ordered the set of blues/boogie woogie. You’re a great teacher and I like the pacing and explanations you give. I’ve played piano for 30+ years, play by ear, and have a fairly good handle on improvising, but being able to do a true boogie style, and understanding the differences between minor, pentatonic, etc. scales is what I’m looking for… to use an overused phrase: “taking it to the next level” is what I’m looking to do and your videos are perfect for that.

I am from Brazil and I live in Orlando Florida. I am a Church Musician. I have been buying a lot DVD on Internet to try to learn Improvisation and new chords. After while I got frustrated. Everybody wants to teach licks but they don’t explain the relation. You do not just teach licks, You give Tools to Build up on my own. Man……Thank You once again.
