My Proven Jazz Piano Method

I too struggled as a young player to learn the “secrets” of jazz piano. What I learned was that there are not really secrets. Instead, there are ways of approaching jazz piano that are easier to understand than many of the current methods.

Teaching Should be Free!

This was a comment that an Internet user posted on a YouTube video of mine. While I agree with the premise, I disagree that teaching should be free. If anything, teachers should be better paid!

Becoming a good teacher involves a lot of time and commitment. I have spent my entire adult life (and most of my childhood) learning, practicing and mastering the piano.

I am not a “fly by night” teacher either. I have studied the Alexander technique, Kodaly method, Suzuki piano, learning styles, behavioral styles and more.

I also take great care in preparing, filming and presenting these lessons to you to make sure that the skills that you’ll learn with me will allow you to both expand your knowledge while also learning the language of music properly.

Sure, there are many other piano methods online so why should you choose my lessons?

Simple, because I’m a trained teacher. I love to teach. And, I care about my students success.
